Senior Communications Executive


  • Develop and implement communications strategies, policies, procedures, initiatives and tactics for internal and external communications to keep audiences informed of SCB’s major development.
  • Develop and distribute publicity material in a timely manner to maintain a positive and congruent image of SCB.
  • Communicates SCB’s policies and position on possible issues.


  • Degree in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations.
  • 3-5 years working experience in marketing communications, journalism, public relations, or closely related fields.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly, concisely, and with impact.
  • Strong strategic and tactical media skills.
  • Excellent written and editing skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.


Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer (COO)


  • Support the COO in daily management of the bureau’s operation.
  • Assist in coordinating all communications relating to the Bureau and its activities or business including correspondence between the Board members, State Government of Sarawak and relevant third parties.
  • Responsible for calendar management for the COO that requires interaction with both internal and external parties for appointments, meetings and functions.


  • Diploma or degree required.
  • At least 5 years’ working experience within a similar role.
  • Strong level of written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
  • Strong administration and co-ordination skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Be able to work independently, self-motivated, responsible, well-organized while under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
