SECOND INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR
SARAWAK’S MEETINGS COMMERCIAL
Sarawak Convention Bureau’s meetings commercial “Recharge in a New World – Sarawak, Borneo” has notched up its second international award receiving the first prize Gold Camera Award in the Corporate travel and tourism category at the US International Film and Video Festival held in Los Angeles recently.
Earlier this year, the commercial was awarded the best entry across all categories – the Diamond Award – at the Golden City Gate Film Competition held in conjunction with ITB Berlin.
The U. S. International Film and Video Festival was founded in 1967 and is one of the world’s leading international events devoted exclusively to recognition of outstanding Business, Television, Documentary, Educational, Entertainment, Industrial and Informational productions.
The commercial story line features Sarawak’s Iban community and positions Sarawak and its location on the Island of Borneo as a new and vibrant Malaysian business destination. The award winning commercial can be viewed on You Tube video:
