Redefining Global Tribes redefines legacy partnerships at IMEX Frankfurt 2018

Frankfurt, 18th May 2018: Sarawak’s Redefining Global Tribes made an astounding impression to Business Events global professionals at IMEX Frankfurt; the very heart of global convergence of meetings, incentives and business travel, from the 14th – 17th May 2018.

Redefining Global Tribes (RGT) is a tribal summon of uniting Business Events communities for a stronger identity within the global economy. The core value of the campaign, which was communicated through our specially made conference tag ribbons and exclusive RGT badges, was very well received,” began Amelia Roziman, Chief Operating Officer of the Sarawak Convention Bureau.

“We have received overwhelming feedback on our campaign. As a 2nd tier destination, Sarawak is glad to champion this summon. We are hopeful and excited to produce more RGT merchandises for a greater reach of the sector’s communities in our upcoming tradeshows,” she continued.

Sarawak, also represented by sector partners CPH Travel Agencies, The Ranee Boutique Suites, The Marian Boutique Lodging House as well as the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, was charged to connect with legacy builders of around 3,500 exhibitors representing well over 150 countries, and was announced as the “largest ever” by Ray Bloom, Chairman of the IMEX Group at the tradeshow’s opening ceremony.

“How befitting that this year, IMEX’s annual talking point zooms in on the importance of legacy. Our initiatives, such as our CSR Borneo Orangutan Project which is represented by Brooke the official mascot, have always focus on parting sustainable impacts and generating awareness for the challenges faced by our community,” mentioned Roziman.

“Legacy building is a second nature to Sarawak; and we are glad to be able to capitalize on platforms such as IMEX Frankfurt to garner a wider support and create conversations for the conservation of the orangutans,” she concluded.
