Kuching, 8th May 2018: Sarawak’s boldest campaign for Business Events to date, Redefining Global Tribes, will once again reinforce the positive impacts of the sector at this year’s IMEX Frankfurt; a landmark exhibition for global experts working within the incentive travel, meetings and events industry, taking place in Frankfurt from the 15th to 17th May 2018.
Coincidentally, the event’s annual talking point; the exploration of a single emerging or important trend in Business Events this year harped on the importance of legacy, which resonated with Sarawak’s present campaign drive.
“Legacy building has always been at the epicentre of Sarawak’s Business Events. From endearing CSR initiatives such as our Borneo OrangUtan Project for the 55th ICCA Congress to our current Redefining Global Tribes campaign, we have always harnessed the power of community and shared purpose to ensure that legacy building is here to stay,” commented Amelia Roziman, Chief Operating Officer of the Sarawak Convention Bureau (SCB).
Along with SCB, Sarawak will also be represented by sector partners CPH Travel Agencies, The Ranee Boutique Suites, The Marian Boutique Lodging House as well as the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching to showcase the destination’s unique products and offerings in meeting the business objectives of meeting planners and associations.
Redefining Global Tribes, going into its second year of enforcement, pledges to unite the Business Events communities around the globe under a single tribe with aligned vision and mission. The campaign, going from strength to strength, reiterates the inclusivity of Business Events to the community and its identity.
